Launch of services providing data in realtime using satellite data transmission, mailny for provinig of data from capital and financial markets. Services were known at the market under the commercial names EOTEL SATinvest and EOTEL CABLEinvest (currently EOTEL NETinvest). | |
| Developement of unique technology which allows distribution of infromation through short text messages (SMS) First customer in this area was the biggies operator of GSM network in the Czech republic – EuroTel Praha spol. s r.o. which thanks to TANGER also become a first provider of information services at bases of SMS. Soon it was followed by Globtel spol. s r.o. and EuroTel Slovakia spol s r.o. |
